What is a Flight Review?
A Flight Review isn’t a pass/fail exam, it’s a collaborative session between you and your instructor to ensure your skills and knowledge are up to date.

Under FAA Regulation 61.56, a Flight Review includes:
- At least 1 hour of ground instruction
- At least 1 hour of flight training
- A review of FAA operating and safety regulations
- Evaluation of your airmanship and decision-making skills

Every pilot must complete a Flight Review (BFR) every 24 calendar months, but how you do it makes all the difference. At USATS, we transform this routine check into a valuable refresher and skill-building opportunity.
You’ll spend at least one hour on the ground reviewing essential regulations and procedures, followed by at least one hour of flight training, customized to your needs and experience level.
