    3. Receiving the FAA Foreign License Verification Letter
    4. We will arrange for you to meet with an FAA DPE to obtain FAA Private Pilot License (based on Foreign).
    5. Proceed with any required ground or flight training to obtain desired licenses/ratings
    6. Passing the FAA knowledge and practical tests (if applicable)

Foreign License Conversions

The FAA License Conversion Process

If you hold a valid foreign pilot license, you can obtain an FAA Private Pilot Certificate through the foreign license verification process. This is the foundational step for flying in the United States.

From there, your existing flight experience may be applied toward earning additional FAA certificates and ratings. USATS will guide you through each step, from verifying your credentials with your home authority to preparing for any required FAA knowledge and practical tests.
